Cody Yeakel is a high school science teacher in Surprise, Arizona. His learning experience utilizes ArcGIS software to integrate Xplorlabs content on the Lithium-ion battery supply chain into his Earth Science curriculum. He challenges students to examine disparities in raw resource use and impact (of extraction), and hopes to distribute student work through the Arizona ArcGIS StoryMap competition in future years.
