Context

Marc Cohen, 6th Grade Science. Students and I are learning the dangers of what can happen to batteries when thermal runaway happens. Also, how we can save the earth with properly disposing of said batteries. This is a profound learning opportunity for students and parents. A form went home describing what we were doing and how the community was welcomed in our student learning community in 6th grade. We are thrilled to be getting batteries every day and learning even more of how we can recycle them. Still learning and growing students, teachers and parents.
