Two years ago, Xplorlabs launched The Science of Fire Safety pathway to teach students the science behind how fire sprinklers work, how to design fire-safe spaces, and encourage exploration of a range of fire safety technologies.
The pathway and its resources were developed with the support of the National Fire Sprinkler Association and leveraging the expertise of both NFSA and scientists and researchers in ULRI’s Fire Safety Research Institute to educate students on the complex problem of fire safety and the nuanced solutions to designing fire-safe spaces.
