Welcome to the New Xplorlabs Experience

We launched a newly designed Xplorlabs website aimed at improving your experience as you discover and engage in safety science with our research-backed pathways.

Our new look and improved functionality are built with you in mind — featuring streamlined navigation, enhanced pathways, and a new section with everything educators need to use Xplorlabs in the classroom.

Here’s What New!

New section just for educators: We created Educators’ Corner so you can access the methodology, research insights, and the pedagogy behind the content. This section is also made for nonformal educators, like fire safety and museum educators, to learn more about how to get involved with Xplorlabs and even bring our Community Partnership Model to your region.

Improved interactive learning: We’ve updated the pathways to provide more details on the innovation and ingenuity behind our safety science-backed content created in partnership with esteemed researchers and scientists at UL Research Institutes.

Streamlined navigation: Our new navigation makes for an easier journey across our various pathways and topics as well as our Resource Library to access and download our resources aligned with the science standards you teach.

Teacher-implemented feedback: To help shape the improved design of the new platform, we worked directly with current and former Xplorlabs Educator Fellows and a focus group of educators across the nation. It is their feedback that guided the improved platform you see today.

We’re proud of how well the Xplorlabs content ties the science students are exploring in their classrooms with the real-world, impactful research that is being done at UL Research Institutes. The new design allows students to see themselves in that work and in those spaces, leading to the creation of the next generation of safety scientists.
