Context

Abigail Turner NeSmith is a middle school science teacher in Marietta, GA. In this lesson students explore heat transfer concepts in their science classes then launch into a multidisciplinary extension related to fire safety and research-backed reccomendations from The Fire Safety Research Institute. Students were compelled by their learnings and became advocates for fire safety and fire prevention in their local community.
